Mama Leather Products is a wholesale
manufacturer of fine leather products. Our
products are made out of split cowhide (suede).
It is elegant, practical and durable. We
have been making high quality leather products
for over 30 years.
Our product line currently is the large
potholder, regular potholder and oven mitt.
The large potholder measures 9 inch square with
a 7 inch square center. The regular
potholder is 7 inch square with a 5 inch center.
The oven mitt comes in a left or right.
The length of the mitt is 14 1/2 inch and 7 1/2
inch wide (at its widest point). There is
a palm piece added on to provide extra
protection from heat.
The Centers of the potholders and palms are sewn
together with an indestructible satin stitch.
The outside of the mitt is sewn together with a
very durable straight stitch. You can
reach into your oven feeling confident that you
will not burn your hand. The oven mitt and
potholder have been tested to reach 500 degrees.
Leather possesses many qualities, which makes it
a natural for these products. It is a
natural insulator, and it is extremely
heat-resistant without the bulky padding that
other conventional products have. Leather
is also fire resistant, it will not flame.
It simply shrivels when exposed to fire.
It adheres to any surface for a much better grip
than a conventional potholder. All
products are machine washable in "cold" water
then lay flat to dry. Leather is
extremely durable and with the proper care it
will last for years.
